This year’s CLÁR Programme includes a new initiative to support voluntary first-response organisations who operate entirely on a voluntary basis and are involved in emergency rescue/first response efforts in rural areas, very often under very difficult circumstances. This funding is intended to enable these organisations to purchase or upgrade equipment that is fit for purpose in assisting in their life-saving activities.
The CLÁR programme is funded by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
Proposals should provide a clear evidence base for the assistance being requested and should be submitted directly to the Department at clar@ahg.gov.ie, by this Friday, 5th May 2017 and on associated attached application. Any queries in relation to this scheme should be submitted to the Department via clar@ahg.gov.ie also.
