Cork County Council has recently installed a new outdoor gym in Mallow’s town park and along other towns and walkways across the county. As part of the ‘Get Ireland Active’ campaign, the Health Promotion Department of the HSE South and Cork Sports Partnership are organising a series of ‘Come and Try it’ sessions at the outdoor gym sites across the county.
You now have the perfect opportunity to check out the facilities in Mallow and across the county and familiarise yourself with the outdoor gym in your area with the help of a qualified fitness instructor. The gyms are for people with all levels of fitness and offer you the opportunity to have fun exercising, whilst enjoying the fresh air of the outdoors.
