Last Saturday morning saw a great crowd of locals join the Mallow Tidy Towns at the Spa Park and at the Roundabouts to do a fine mornings clean up.
There was plenty to be done and the group set to work to clean and tidy with great energy and enthusiasm to get Mallow clean. Thanks to all who turned out and the effort was rewarded by the great improvements that were made to both locations. Thanks also to Food Capers who supplied the very welcome tea and coffee to the thirsty volunteers at the Roundabout.
Find out where the tidy Towns are every Tuesday night by texting 087 6359944. If you want to take on some painting for the Tidy Towns, give that number a call. There are plenty of kerbs, railings and metalwork needing a freshen up with a good coat of fresh paint.
There is also a monthly clean up which takes place every 2nd Saturday, next one is on Saturday August 13th.
