The July meeting of the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District of Cork County Council will take place on Friday 5th July 2019 in the Council Offices, Annabella, Mallow, Co Cork.
These meetings are held once a month, where the nine councillors representing the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District Area meet with the engineers that cover the area.
Councillors are entitled to submit a maximum of three motions in advance of the meeting on issues relating to day to day services provided by Cork County Council, such as roads, water, housing, waste water etc… The engineers have a written response to present at the meeting which is then discussed.
My motions for the July meeting are as follows:
“That CCC put in place a “bus pick up area” on road into the Mart in Kanturk so as to assist in the bus collections from the Schools of the Town”
“That CCC repair the bridge on entrance to Rathcoole Village from Banteer side”
“That CCC write to Bus Eireann requesting an earlier service from Charleville to Limerick on the Route 51 Service so as to accommodate early morning commuters, especially college students”
