The July meeting of the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District of Cork County Council will take place on Friday, 7th July 2017 in the County Council Offices at Anabella, Mallow, Co Cork.
These meetings are held once a month, where the six councillors representing the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District Area meet with the engineers that cover the area.
Councillors are entitled to submit a maximum of three motions in advance of the meeting on issues relating to day to day services provided by Cork County Council, such as roads, water, housing, waste water etc… The engineers have a written response to present at the meeting which is then discussed.
My motions for the July meeting are as follows:
“That the Kanturk/Mallow MD would outline it’s drainage programme for autumn/winter 2017”.
“That the Kanturk/Mallow MD would proceed with the erection of an electronic interactive sign at the Park Road/Mallow Bridge junction allowing local not for profit organisations to advertise community events for the Mallow area and desist with the erection of signage at this junction into the future”.
“That the Kanturk/Mallow MD would consider powerwashing the footpaths in Newmarket town and in particular New Street”.
