The road under the railway bridge at the Anabella Roundabout/Naviagtion Road in Mallow will be closed from 8pm on Friday 1st December next to 11.30pm on Sunday 3rd December. This is in order to allow Irish Rail to do repair works to the bridge.

Road to be closed:
Mallow – Killarney Road at UBC339, Mallow Town, Adjacent to Annabella Roundabout & “The Roundabout Inn”, with Residential access maintained up to Kennel Hill on the Westbound approach. Pedestrian Route to be made available under Supervision, during works.
Road Number:
N72 – only will be closed within the area of UBC339 and Kennel Hill, with a Stop /Go shuttle System operational on Kennel Hill to provide residential Access.
Alternative Routes:
Traffic Travelling From Limerick & Fermoy to Killarney will be directed via the R619 & R621 Coachford Rd to rejoin the N72 Westbound
Traffic Travelling From Cork to Killarney will be Directed via the R638 & R619 back onto the N72 Westbound.
All traffic travelling from Killarney will be directed via the R621 and R619 Eastbound, with Cork and Limerick/Fermoy traffic being directed onto the N20 North/South at the Blackwater Bridge Junction.
