Priority Construction has recently been appointed contractors to carry out significant refurbishment pavement works to the Main Street in Charleville Town.
The main road has been severely damaged in recent months due to the inclement weather and significant traffic coming through the town centre. Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) has approved funding to Cork County Council for the works which are due to be mobilised this week.
Works will take approximately 10 weeks to complete with the majority of work being carried out at night time. Traffic delays will be expected during the day also as preparation works are completed for the works.
