Cork County Council is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 Anti-Litter Challenge competition.
The Anti-Litter Challenge competition is a long-standing initiative that aims to reward community groups who help to tackle the problem of litter in their localities. It is an important part of the partnership between the Council and local volunteers in the fight against litter.
Last year 22 towns and 64 villages across the county took part and shared almost €43,000 in prize money. Community groups in towns and villages across Cork are invited to apply online for the 2024 competition at www.yourcouncil.ie.
The closing date for applications is Tuesday 23 April 2024. Applications are welcome from groups who have not previously taken part or who have not participated for several years.
