Cork Sports Partnership is teaming up with a number of community and statutory agencies and are on a mission to Get Cork Walking.
This week-long celebration of walking will take place throughout Cork and cater for people interested in getting out and about at walking events and workshops across the county.
Supporting walking groups, programmes and initiatives in Cork and Cork Walking Week provides a fantastic focal point for people to experience walking events and activities locally. The week also coincides with The European Week of Sport which is also about getting people active through sport & physical activity with the campaign #BeActive.
Activities range from orienteering style events to beginner walking workshops as well as guided walks across the county.
