Cork County Council is now inviting registrations for the establishment of the proposed Cork County PPN. The PPN will replace the current Community & Voluntary Forum. It will be of interest to the following groups:
- Community & Voluntary – e.g. local/community development groups, tidy towns, sports groups/clubs/associations
- Social Inclusion – bodies tacking poverty, disadvantage, and the marginalised
- Environmental organisations – environmental / ecological protection and sustainability
The Community Development Section of Cork County Council is engaging in a publicity campaign and will also be notifying relevant organisations, but any support that you can provide in spreading the message in your own community would be appreciated.

The closing date for receipt of initial registrations is 4th February 2015.
It is important that as many groups as possible register before this date as otherwise, you will not be entitled to vote for the PPN elections later on in the Spring of 2015.
