✅ Today, Thursday 21st May, we continued our town team meetings, this involved CCC staff, Business and Community representatives from Kanturk Town, An Garda Siochana and local councillors.
Also in attendance was Kevin Curran from the Local Enterprise Office who both gave a detailed report of the services and supports that they have to offer to businesses as they begin to re-open.

✅ CCC have already commenced carrying out a deep cleaning of the town which will include cleaning of pavements, signs,bollards, and street furniture.
✅ It is proposed to widen footpaths in different parts of the Streets around the main town to accommodate 2m Physical Distancing. This will be done using flexible parking bollards/cones and new planters and flowerbeds.
✅ Plan is being put in place to boost local Tourism for Town and its hinterlands (20km radius to comply with NPHET guidelines)
✅ Painting scheme to continue.
✅ Age Friendly car parking will be considered for the Town.
