The January meeting of the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District of Cork County Council will take place on Friday 4th January 2019 in the Council Offices, Annabella, Mallow, Co Cork.
These meetings are held once a month, where the six councillors representing the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District Area meet with the engineers that cover the area.
Councillors are entitled to submit a maximum of three motions in advance of the meeting on issues relating to day to day services provided by Cork County Council, such as roads, water, housing, waste water etc…
The engineers have a written response to present at the meeting which is then discussed.
My motions for the December meeting are as follows:
“That the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District erect a cul de sac sign on the road just on the Mallow side of Newberry Railway Gates, Newberry, Mallow. This road was completed by a CIS a few years back”
“That the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District arrange for the R619 from Dromahane village to Blarney boundary to be drained in the immediate term to alleviate surface water and ponding issues on this road”
“That the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District repair the Boola Road, Bweeng”.
