The September meeting of the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District of Cork County Council will take place on Friday 6th September 2019 in the Council Offices, Annabella, Mallow, Co Cork.
These meetings are held once a month, where the nine councillors representing the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District Area meet with the engineers that cover the area.
Councillors are entitled to submit a maximum of three motions in advance of the meeting on issues relating to day to day services provided by Cork County Council, such as roads, water, housing, waste water etc… The engineers have a written response to present at the meeting which is then discussed.
My motions for the September meeting are as follows:
“That Cork County Council prioritise the application for electronic speed reflector signs for the village of Tullylease under the next round of Clár funding”.
“That Cork County Council write to the TII seeking the reinstatement of the skid resistant surface around the Sandpit House which has deteriorated badly in recent months”
“That Cork County Council amend the current lights at the pedestrian crossing by the graveyard in Charleville Town to accommodate new lights with the frequency cycle of Green » Orange » Red”.
