Cork County Council has commenced work on preparing a 6 Year Local Economic & Community Plan (LECP) for the County.
The Public Consultation phase has been officially launched and remains open for a six week period from June 2nd to July 10th 2015.

In order to facilitate community and economic stakeholder engagement a series of Conference Workshop events have been scheduled to take place across the County as follows;
· South Cork Public Consultation Event Douglas: Rochestown Park Hotel 16 June 2015 9.00am to 1.15pm (morning event)
· West Cork Public Consultation Event Skibbereen: West Cork Hotel, 17 June 2015 9.00am to 1.15pm (morning event)
· North Cork Public Consultation Event Mallow: Mallow GAA Sports Complex, 18 June 2015 9.00am to 1.15pm (morning event)
The workshops will be an important and exciting opportunity to shape the future Local Economic and Community Development of Cork.

Please note that in addition to the workshops there will also be a shorter more informal evening event open to all from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on each day of the workshop conferences which does not require registration.
