Venue: Mercy Centre, Mallow
Date: Monday 15th May 2017
Time: 7.30-9.30pm
Contact: MHEngage.CorkKerry@hse.ie
What is Mental Health Engagement?
It is a process of listening and acknowledging the shared experiences of all. It moves from words to actions. It endeavours to find common ground where this experience can bring about change in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of the HSE Mental Health Services.
What is a Local Forum?
A Local Forum is the first and most important step in engagement. Local Forums provide a space and opportunity for people to voice their experiences and present their views in order to improve outcomes for those who use our services and for those who support them.
Who is this for?
The invitation to join your Local Forum is extended to all who have their own lived experience of mental health or is a supporter of a person who is using or has used the services. Open meetings will be held monthly.
