Good news coming from Kanturk Town this afternoon as it has emerged an agreement has been reached by Cork County Council on a new premises for the Library in Kanturk. It is hoped the new contracts on the lease can be signed and the premises adapted to accommodate the Library over the next few weeks.
Once these details are confirmed, the location of the new Library will be made public along with an expected re-opening date.
In the interim, Library services for Kanturk will continue to be provided from Newmarket and all other Libraries in North Cork. Cork County Council mobile library service is also in operation.F
