North Cork Film-Making and Employment Skills Project are pleased to announce that it is now recruiting learners for the 2015/2016 year.
This full-time course begins at the end of September and gives learners the opportunity to gain experience in areas of scriptwriting, camera operation, directing, sound operation and film editing. A City & Guilds Certificate in Short Film Production is on offer for learners during the course.
In addition, learners are required to complete a Fetac Level 4 in Employment skills which will better prepare them for the workforce, further education or further training. Components include Communications, IT Skills, Personal Development, Digital Media Technology, Work Experience and Career Planning.
Other components include introduction to photography, drama, animation and art.
Social welfare payments are not affected by this course, under 26 years are entitled to the Further Education and Training allowance.
