Speaking about the Cork Walking Week recently, Claire Hurley of the Cork Sports Partnership said, “We are delighted to be able to offer such an exciting calendar of events during Cork Walking Week 2018, following our successful Walking campaigns of 2015 & 2017 there was a great appetite from people to take part in local events, with their local walking group. These organised events offer people a unique opportunity to get out walking, but they also give people the chance to meet different groups in an informal setting and perhaps join the group following the walking events”.
The Cork Sports Partnership would like to thank the host of walking groups that have scheduled walking events during the week for people to get involved in. These groups stretch across Cork City and County and we hope to get ‘Cork Walking’ between Saturday May 19th and Sunday May 27th.
