The awards’ night was held recently in the James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket.
The winners of the various categories were:
- Best Start Up – Alex’s Adventure, Millstreet
- Best Social Enterprise – Canon O’Donovan Day Centre, Millstreet
- Best Women-led Business – Black Hut Crafts, Newmarket
- Best Established – Ducon Concrete, Kanturk
- Best Family Run Business – Noel C. Duggan Hardware & Steel
- Best in the Creative Industry – Freemount Heritage Centre
The overall winner of the 2019 IRD Duhallow Business Award was Noel C. Duggan Hardware & Steel.
“I was delighted to attend the awards’ night and to celebrate the fantastic business community that we have in the Duhallow area. Well done to each of the winners and to the shortlisted businesses; a particular well done to Noel C. Duggan Hardware & Steel on wining the overall award on the night.
