O’Shea Wishes Village of Boherbue Well Ahead of Pride of Place Judging

North Cork Fine Gael Councillor John Paul O’ Shea sends his good wishes to the North Cork village of Boherbue which has been nominated by Cork County Council for the 2019 IPB Pride of Place Competition, in association with Co-Operation Ireland. Judges will be in Boherbue on this  Thursday, June 27th.

The Pride of Place competition, now in its 17th year, has enjoyed tremendous success and continues to grow in popularity. The competition acknowledges the great work carried out by communities all over the island of Ireland. It also recognises the work undertaken to create viable, vibrant and visible communities while giving local authorities the opportunity to participate in the heart of their communities and contribute to their growth.

Commenting this week, Cllr. O’ Shea said: “My congratulations to Boherbue on its nomination by Cork County Council and I wish the community well ahead of judging in the village on Thursday. Boherbue is a very vibrant and inclusive community; the entire community is truly deserving of this attention and I am sure the judges will be treated to a grand tour of the facilities Boherbue has to offer on their arrival.”
