I know this will come as a great relief to you and to all who travel on these roads on a daily basis as these roads will now be greatly enhanced by these restoration works. As you are more than aware, these roads has been in very poor condition for sometime now so I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued patience to date on this matter.
Assisting people in improving and enhancing their local roads is, and continues to be, one of my top priorities as a public representative in North Cork. Since I was elected, I have lobbied strongly on behalf of my constituents on a continuous basis to ensure Cork County Council receives sufficient funding to ensure people can enjoy good quality road infrastructure.
There will also be a surface dressing (Tar & Chip) programme for the Mallow Area in 2012 and I hope this will be ready over the next 3-4 weeks. I will keep you posted on this as soon as I have it to hand.
