Community Funding for the Fermoy Municipal District has been announced for 2019 which includes the Charleville & Newtownshandrum areas.
The following groups have been allocated funding for 2019:
Amenity Grants:
Brindle Hill – Maintenance of green area – €300
Brough & Turnpike Resident Association – Maintain area around pump – €200
Charleville Tidy Towns – Ongoing Tidy Towns works – €7,000
Deerpark Heights, Charleville – Grass cutting – €300
Love Lane – Maintenance of green area – €300
Meadowvale, Charleville – Maintain estate – €300
Rathgoggin Heights – Maintenance of green – €300
Charleville First Responders – Defibrillator and projector – €500
Newtownshandrum Community Hall – Purchase of chairs and tables – €1,000
Capital Grant:
Charleville & District Rugby Club – Tarmac entrance and replace training equipment – €10,000
Community Contract:
Charleville Town Twinning – Town twinning – €1,000
Charleville Heritage Society – Organise festival – €2,000
