Charleville Activation Town Team Meeting?
✅ On Wednesday 20th May, we had our first town team meeting, this involved CCC staff, Business and Community representatives from Charleville Town, An Garda Siochana and local councillors.
Also in attendance was Sharon Corcoran, Director of Economic Development & Tourism, and Kevin Curran from the Local Enterprise Office who both gave a detailed report of the services and supports that they have to offer to businesses as they begin to re-open.

✅ CCC will carry out a deep cleaning of the town which will include cleaning of pavements, signs,bollards, and street furniture.
✅ It is proposed to widen footpaths in different parts of the Main Street to accommodate Physical Distancing. (See attached map for locations).
This will be done using flexible parking bollards/cones and new planters and flowerbeds.
✅ Plan to boost local Tourism for Town and its hinterlands (20km radius to comply with NPHET guidelines)
✅ Painting scheme to continue.
✅ Age Friendly car parking will be considered on Town.
