Two further Cost of Living payments will be made this week.
A double Child Benefit Payment has been paid today to support 650,000 families. This measure means that €280 per child will be paid in respect of over 1.2 million children across the country.
The Christmas Bonus will also be paid this week. Over 1.3 people will benefit, including pensioners, people with disabilities, carers and lone parents. Recipients of Illness Benefit for longer than 12 months will also receive the bonus, as they did in 2022.
