CONFIRMED: New Bus Eireann timetable for Route 243 is out and service will commence on Sunday 29th June 2025.
Excellent to see 10 services now per day connecting Newmarket with Kanturk and onto Mallow – with a drop off now also included for Mallow Train Station.
This is a game changer for areas like Newmarket and Kanturk which had a very low level of public transport up to now.
It will also have huge impact for villages such as Dromahane, Bweeng and Grenagh who will now have 5 services per day 
! Some of these villages only had only one service per week up to now!!
Delighted to see this through and to finally seeing it come to fruition. Many thanks to Bus Eireann, NTA and Government for including these areas in the latest round of public transport improvements in the area.
