In response to the greater emphasis our international visitors place on food as part of their overall holiday experience and with visitors to Ireland spending some €2billion on food a year, local food has an unmatched ability to connect them with the heritage and culture of a region, the soul of its people and the rhythm of daily life.
Fáilte Ireland and Taste Cork are holding a networking workshop exploring the current approach to Food Tourism in the North Cork area and how collective collaboration can assist destinations in gaining a competitive advantage. The session will provide actionable insights around Ireland’s leading food destinations and practical tips on how to leverage Ireland’s Ancient East in order to drive growth.
