The November meeting of the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District of Cork County Council will take place on Friday 1st November 2019 in the Council Offices, Annabella, Mallow, Co Cork.
These meetings are held once a month, where the nine councillors representing the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District Area meet with the engineers that cover the area.
Councillors are entitled to submit a maximum of three motions in advance of the meeting on issues relating to day to day services provided by Cork County Council, such as roads, water, housing, waste water etc… The engineers have a written response to present at the meeting which is then discussed.
My motions for the November meeting are as follows:
“That Cork County Council provide members with a written report outlining in detail the current status of each estate of all Housing Estate Developments in the Kanturk/Mallow Municipal District. The report should include details of all outstanding works for estate to be taken in charge, who is now responsible for each estate – i.e. Developer, Receiver, Bank etc. and if bond is in place or not”.“That Cork County Council in conjunction with Banteer/Lyre/Nadd Community Council put in place traffic feedback signs on the approach to Nadd village on the busy R579 Road”.“That Cork County Council put in place an additional speed ramp and additional public lighting on the public road outside Churchtown GAA Grounds”
