There is now new traffic arrangements for Friday’s Presidential Visit to Mallow following further consultation with Gardaí today.
Main Street in Mallow Town will only be closed to traffic from the bottom of O’ Brien St. to the Plaza from approx 11-30am to 7pm. This will incorporate the Presidential Visit and turning on of the Christmas lights at 5-30pm following the visit.
The Main St. will remain open from Shortcastle to O’ Brien St. all day with local diversions (for a short period) being put in place while the President is in Mallow Town. The N72 at Bridge St. and Spa area will remain open to traffic all day Friday.
Please note all car park will be accessible in the town and people are encouraged to come to Mallow Town to see An Uachtarán Michael D. Higgins.
