Uisce Éireann is asking customers in Freemount to help conserve water during the current spell of warm weather as demand is exceeding the rate at which water can be treated and stored.
???? Contingency tankering operations will begin in Freemount from Tuesday, 8 July to help maintain water supplies while demand remains high. Uisce Éireann will continue to monitor all demands in this warm spell.
???? Residents are asked to do their part by reducing water usage where possible. Simple measures such as taking shorter showers, avoiding the use of hoses, only running full loads in washing machines and dishwashers, and fixing leaking taps can make a real difference.
